Dave snyder

Dave Snyder is a poet and a gardener but doesn't garden
at The Splat Flats. Formerly, Dave produced an NPR show,
orthorectified maps, and organized storytelling. Once he
saved a woman from quicksand. Another time he scored 152
points in Scrabble™ by playing EMIGRANTS across two triple
word scores. He holds degrees in geology and writing and
is the 2006 Writers At Work poetry fellow.




Susannah Kite Strang

Susannah Kite Strang is an artist and teacher living in
Chicago. She holds a BFA in Printmaking from the Rhode
Island School of Design and an MFA in Print Media from
the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her current
studio practice includes (and frequently interrelates):
fabrication and manipulation of book structures, writing,
production of multiples in a variety of print media,
experimental audio & video works, and fiber & textile
activities both practical and fanciful. Susannah shares
a birthday with Jimmy Page and Walter “Fritz” Mondale.
