Danya Elbaridi grew up and lived most of her life in Belgrade, Serbia, former Yugoslavia. She acquired an art's degree in her homeland at the Academy of Applied Arts, Belgrade, with extensive background in textile design, murals and iconography.Chicago is now Danya's home and she is excited to be part of the Splat Flats community. Danya's work spans different painted media and varies between abstract and figurative.
